Traditional approaches to developmental education have been shown to have limited benefits and even detrimental effects on students’ ability to complete college-level courses.

In this report, Community College Resource Center examines early college outcomes for students placed into corequisite reading courses and community colleges in the Tennessee Board of Regents system.
